Baco Festum: a journey to the roots - Youth Exchange in 2023
This Erasmus+ project takes place in the summer of 2023 in Carucedo (El Bierzo), where we brought together participants from six countries to celebrate the cultural diversity through learning and discovering the history of the romanization and the wine culture of El Bierzo and Valdeorras.
For whom?
This youth exchange brings together 36 young people from six different countries: Spain, Estonia, Georgia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Hungary and Turkey (5 participants + group leader).
Goals
The objective is to assess the cultural diversity and the historical heritage about Romanization and its legacy, as well as the wine culture of Valdeorras and El Bierzo.
Where and when?
The project takes place in the town of Carucedo, next to the gold mines of Las Médulas, during 8 days (06/04-06/12 of 2023).
