E&E: together for our youth - Small scale partnership in 2022 and 2023
This cooperation project between Valdeorras Vive and the Estonian association Ethos MTÜ takes place during 2022 and 2023, with two youth mobilities and local activities, both in our region (Valdeorras and El Bierzo), and in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It is a project that seeks to promote the social entrepreneurship and the cooperation between both countries, with an approach designed for rural areas, taking Tebaida Berciana as an example.
For whom?
The project, a one-year cooperation, brought together 12 young people from Spain and Estonia. We selected active young people interested in rural entrepreneurship.
Goals
The objective of this cooperation is to promote the entrepreneurship and the creation of innovative initiatives in rural zones, with a focus on non-formal education and cultural exchange between rural and urban areas (Tebaida Berciana and the city of Tallinn).
Where and when?
The first mobility took place in the village of Penalba de Santiago during 5 days (21-26/10 of 2022). The last mobility will take place in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.

The coordinators of this project are Lucas Docampo of Valdeorras Vive and Aleksandra Galkina of the association Ethos MTÜ from Estonia.

E&E II: Exchange in Tallinn, Estonia
The second part of this project took us to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, in a pioneering environment in the field of digitization and the social entrepreneurship. In an intense program, the participants were able to discover the Estonian parliament, the neighborhood of Teliskivi and its incubator of startups and Europe Experience, an interactive exhibition of the European institutions.
