This past July we had the great opportunity to once again send a group to an Erasmus+ training course as far away as Armenia, a country in the Caucasus Mountains that has fascinated us. This course took place in Abovyan, where the headquarters of the Armenian association Future in Our Hands is located, and was about social entrepreneurship.
Without further introduction, we leave you with the personal testimony of Carlos, one of the participants who represented Valdeorras Vive in this special experience. Thanks to each of you who made it possible!
The reality is that I started the project without any kind of expectations since I didn't even know very well what I was going to do, and also because the age differences of the participants were great and varied. I arrived after a difficult trip and was welcomed by Ana, the girl from the organization who would become my soul mate as the days went by.
During the first days we got to know each other and a very strong group atmosphere was created, with confidence and confidence to express everything, which was essential to create the work bonds that were later created. The trainers, Vladimir, Sonia and Giorgi, did an exceptional job because thanks to them we learned great working tools to apply to the projects we developed during these days.
The days went by and the projects were forged together with different teams that were created naturally among the participants. In my case and in the case of Alejandro, another guy from Spain, we did a project about supporting young migrants through the creation of content, more specifically through music. This project, along with all the others, was finally presented to three judges who decided which were the best ideas as well as giving us feedback that was very useful. So in general terms I can say that this project has been both productive on a personal, professional and vital level, something for which I will be grateful for life to all the people who have been part of it all.
