In January 2025, in Peñalba de Santiago, El Bierzo, Rural Makers 2.0 brought together youth workers from across Europe to strengthen youth work in rural areas. The project aimed to create a collaborative network, provide tools to foster creativity and problem-solving in rural communities, and develop strategies to address their challenges. Additionally, it promoted joint initiatives within the Erasmus+ program to strengthen youth work.

The coordinators and trainers of this project are Lucas Docampo Gacio and Alexandra Galkina.

It was an incredible experience. A well prepared and balanced program with activities and down time. I enjoyed working with people from diverse backgrounds and the trainers were perfect, they made sure everyone felt at home with useful information and feedback.
